Air Marshal Younes Hamed ((アラビア語:يونس حامد); born 15 December 1959) is the Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Air Force. Hamed graduated from the Egyptian Air Academy on 16 December 1979. During his service in the Egyptian Air Force he has been the commander of a flying squadron, an air brigade commander and an air area commander. More recently he served as the head of the Air Operations Division, the Air Force Chief of Staff before being selected as the Commander of the Air Force.
